BA (Hons) Computer Games Design

The BA (Hons) Computer Games Design develops practical expertise in game design, level design, visual communication, game engines, prototyping and interactive storytelling. Through studio-based projects and collaborative workflows, students develop technical and creative skills using industry-standard tools and approaches while building a professional portfolio for careers across games and interactive media.

Standard entry requires a minimum of 112 UCAS tariff points from 3 A-Levels or equivalent plus 4 GCSE passes at grade C/4 or above including English. Foundation entry requires a minimum of 32 UCAS tariff points or equivalent. Applicants aged 21+ without formal qualifications may be considered based on relevant professional experience and an academic interview. Applicants must also present a digital or physical portfolio at Applicant Day, while non-native English speakers require IELTS 6.0 with no band below 5.5 or an approved equivalent.
