Course Overview
This degree explores the complete criminal investigation process, from the initial crime scene through police custody and evidence gathering to the courtroom. Using the immersive iLearn virtual learning environment, students can experience simulated crime scenarios and take on roles such as Crime Scene Investigator, Detective or Civilian Investigator. The course develops knowledge of forensic investigation, policing procedures, human rights, intelligence, community policing and transnational organised crime while preparing students for careers across policing and the wider law enforcement sector.

Entry Requirements
Typically two GCE A-Levels or equivalent plus three GCSEs at grade C/4 or above. Relevant professional experience may be considered, particularly experience in policing, military service or private security. IELTS 6.0 with no band below 5.5 or equivalent English qualification.
