Course Overview
This interdisciplinary degree combines evidence-based psychology with contemporary criminology to explore human behaviour, criminality, victimisation and the social systems surrounding crime and justice. Students develop knowledge of psychological theory, brain and behaviour, neuroscience, research methods, mental health, forensic psychology and criminological theory, supported by practical enquiry, case studies and specialist psychology facilities. Optional modules allow students to develop interests across policing, international criminology, punishment, evidence and forensics.
