Course Overview
The FdA Early Childhood Studies is a two-year Level 4/5 foundation degree that prepares students to work with children from birth to age 8 across early years settings, schools and family support services. The course blends academic study with reflective, work-related learning, building students' understanding of child development, safeguarding and inclusive practice. On completion, graduates hold 240 credits and can progress directly onto a Level 6 BA (Hons) top-up year.
