BA (Hons) Business Management and Law

The BA (Hons) Business Management and Law combines business management with key areas of legal study to develop the knowledge and practical skills required in modern commercial environments. Students explore management principles, the English legal system, contract law, tort, employment law, company law and consumer law alongside business intelligence, marketing, operations and strategic management. Through applied learning, case studies, legal research and professional reporting, the course develops critical thinking, communication, negotiation and analytical skills for careers across business, compliance, human resources, consultancy and legal support.

Academic entry typically requires a minimum of two GCE A-Levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications, together with three GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including English and Mathematics; BTEC Extended Diploma qualifications are accepted. Mature applicants aged 21 or over may be considered through relevant professional experience in business, administration or legal support, supported by a CV and personal statement. Non-native English speakers typically require IELTS 6.0 with no individual band below 5.5 or an approved equivalent.
