BA (Hons) Human Resource Management and Psychology

The BA (Hons) Human Resource Management and Psychology combines psychological theory with human resource management, leadership and organisational practice. Students explore individual and social psychology, personality, intelligence, occupational psychology, strategic HR planning, business intelligence and organisational behaviour. Through applied learning, behavioural case studies, research and professional development, the course develops the analytical, communication and management skills needed for careers in human resources, recruitment, occupational psychology, employee wellbeing, corporate training and organisational development.

Academic entry typically requires a minimum of two GCE A-Levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications, together with three GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including English and Mathematics; BTEC Extended Diploma qualifications are accepted. Mature applicants aged 21 or over may be considered through relevant professional experience in HR, administration or support services, supported by a CV and personal statement. Non-native English speakers typically require IELTS 6.0 with no individual band below 5.5 or an approved equivalent.
