Course Overview
This degree combines scientific forensic techniques with criminal investigation, developing the knowledge and analytical skills needed to understand and evaluate evidence from crime scenes through to the courtroom. Students explore forensic biology, trace analysis, death investigation, skeletal remains and environmental evidence while developing practical skills in evidence recovery, crime scene management and professional reporting. A virtual crime world provides simulated opportunities to explore crime scenes, forensic laboratories and burial sites.

Entry Requirements
Typically two GCE A-Levels or equivalent plus three GCSEs at grade C/4 or above. Relevant professional experience may be considered, including experience in military or security roles. IELTS 6.0 with no band below 5.5 or equivalent English qualification; international applicants may require an approved Secure English Language Test (SELT).
